Delete your account
This page is for Nova Blast, the game published by Evgenii Isupov. It explains how to delete your account and the data attached to it, what gets erased, what has to be kept, and for how long.
You do not need to ask us. Deletion is built into the game and takes effect immediately: Settings → Delete account. The steps are below. If you can no longer open the app, write to [email protected] and we will do it for you.
01Delete it yourself, in the game
- Open Nova Blast.
- Tap Settings in the bottom bar (the rightmost of the five tabs).
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm. The app asks twice — the second confirmation is the point of no return.
- The app contacts our server, waits for it to confirm the deletion, and only then wipes the copy on your device. When it finishes you are back at a brand-new game.
You do not have to be signed in with Apple or Google for this to work. The anonymous account the game created on first launch is deleted the same way.
02Ask us to delete it instead
If the app will not open, or you would simply rather we did it, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account, or tell us the player identifier shown at the bottom of the Settings screen. That identifier is the only way we can find the right account — we do not hold your name or any other way to recognise you.
We answer within 30 days, and in practice much sooner.
03What is deleted
Everything below is erased from our servers and from your device, immediately and irreversibly:
- The account itself, and the anonymous device identifier it was reached by
- Campaign progress, stars and best scores
- The crystal ledger, and the balance it adds up to
- Unlocked drones, cosmetics and boosters
- Achievements
- Lives, the daily-bonus cycle and Nova Trials records
- Your leaderboard entry and your leaderboard name, which is released for anyone else to claim
- Any Apple or Google sign-in you linked
It cannot be undone. Signing in again with the same Apple or Google account will not bring anything back — it will create a new, empty one. Unspent crystals, including ones you paid for, are gone and are not refunded. Spend them first if you care about them.
04What is kept, and for how long
| What | Why it survives | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase, billing and tax records — what was bought, when, and for how much | Tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. They are detached from the deleted account, so they no longer name you or point at anything of yours. | As long as the law requires — typically up to 7 years |
| Gameplay events already sent to Firebase Analytics (Google) | Held by Google, not by us. They were never tied to your account — we do not send your account identifier to Firebase — so there is nothing in them to link back to you. | 2 months, then deleted by Google |
| Advertising-measurement events already sent to Meta | Held by Meta, not by us, and likewise never tied to your account. | Meta's own retention policy |
| Advertising-measurement events already sent to Tenjin | Held by Tenjin, not by us. This is the one copy that carries your account identifier — a random string, never a name or an e-mail — because matching an install to an account is what advertising measurement is. Ask us and we will request its deletion too. | Tenjin's own retention policy |
| Server logs — IP address, request time, error traces | Security, rate limiting and debugging. | Up to 30 days |
05Deleting some data without deleting the account
There is no in-app control for this, but you can ask. Email [email protected] and say what you want removed — for example your leaderboard name and entry, or the copy Tenjin holds — and we will remove it and leave the rest of your account intact. Same identification and the same 30 days as above.
You can also ask for a copy of your data before deciding.
06Not what you wanted?
Settings → Reset progress is the milder option: it clears the save on the device you are holding, leaves the account alone, and the next sync brings your progress back from the server. It is for starting the campaign over, not for leaving.
